These terms govern your use of walletreturn.ca and its tools (the “Site”), operated by WalletReturn. By using the Site you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

1. What WalletReturn is

WalletReturn is an information and comparison service. We are not a bank, lender, credit card issuer, broker or financial advisor. We do not take applications, make credit decisions or guarantee approval for any product. Approval and product terms are decided solely by the issuer.

2. Estimates and information

Values such as first-year bonus value, net annual rewards and first-year value are estimates based on example or user-entered spending, the assumptions we publish in our methodology, and product information we believe was accurate when checked. Actual rewards, fees and benefits depend on your spending, eligibility and the issuer’s current terms, which can change without notice. Always confirm current terms with the issuer before applying.

Content on the Site is general information, not financial, legal or tax advice tailored to you. Consider your own circumstances and seek professional advice where appropriate.

3. Advertising and affiliate links

Some links on the Site are affiliate or advertising links. If you apply for a product through one of them, WalletReturn may be paid by the issuer or an affiliate network. This does not change the price or terms offered to you and does not change our calculated values. Details are in our divulgation publicitaire.

4. Third-party websites

Links take you to websites we do not control. We are not responsible for their content, products, privacy practices or availability, and your use of them is governed by their terms.

5. Accounts

You must be at least the age of majority in your province or territory to create an account. Keep your sign-in details confidential; you are responsible for activity on your account. We may suspend accounts used in breach of these terms.

6. Acceptable use

Do not misuse the Site, including by interfering with its operation, attempting to access data or accounts without permission, scraping or copying content in bulk, submitting false information, or using the Site for unlawful purposes.

7. Intellectual property

The Site’s content, design, calculations and software belong to WalletReturn or its licensors. You may view and use the Site for your personal, non-commercial use. Card names, logos and card images are trademarks or property of their respective owners and are used for identification only.

8. No warranty

The Site is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the extent permitted by law, we make no warranties that the Site or its information will be accurate, complete, current, uninterrupted or error-free.

9. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, WalletReturn will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, or for any loss arising from your reliance on information on the Site or from your dealings with any issuer or third party. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under applicable consumer protection law that cannot be excluded.

10. Changes

We may update the Site and these terms. The current version will always be posted here with its “last updated” date. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated terms.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply there, subject to any mandatory consumer protection laws of your province of residence.
