Expedia For TD: How to Sign In, Earn and Use TD Rewards Points in Canada
How Expedia For TD works: signing in with your TD online banking details, using points for all or part of a trip (200 points = $1), earning up to 8 points per dollar, and how to reach customer service.

What is Expedia For TD?
Expedia For TD is the travel booking site for TD Rewards and TD travel credit cardholders, run by Expedia. You can book flights, hotels, packages, car rentals, activities and cruises, earn extra TD Rewards points on what you book, and pay for all or part of a trip with points.
How do I sign in to Expedia For TD?
Go to ExpediaForTD.com and sign in with your TD online banking (EasyWeb) username and password. There is no separate Expedia For TD account to create; it is only available to TD Rewards credit cardholders.
If your card is a TD Business Travel Visa, TD says you first need to merge your business profile with your personal banking profile by calling 1-866-222-3456.
How do I use TD Rewards points on Expedia For TD?
1) Sign in and choose your trip. 2) On the billing page, enter the dollar amount you want to cover under “Use Your TD Rewards Points”. 3) Click “Complete Booking”. Points can only be applied at the time of booking.
You can use points for the whole trip or part of it. Your card is charged the full price, and the dollar value of the points you redeemed is credited back to your card in 3 to 5 business days.
The minimum is 200 points, and points are redeemed in 200-point steps.
How much are TD Rewards points worth on Expedia For TD?
TD says every 200 TD Rewards points redeemed through Expedia For TD are worth $1 off travel. That makes each point worth 0.5 cents.
| TD Rewards points | Value on Expedia For TD |
|---|---|
| Top10,000 | $50 |
| 25,000 | $125 |
| 50,000 | $250 |
| 100,000 | $500 |
| 120,000 | $600 |
How many points do you earn on Expedia For TD bookings?
It depends on your card: 8 points per $1 with the TD First Class Travel Visa Infinite, 6 with the TD Platinum Travel Visa and 4 with the TD Rewards Visa. At 0.5 cents a point, that is about 4%, 3% and 2% back on travel booked there.
| TD card | Annual fee | Expedia For TD | Groceries, dining, transit | Recurring bills, streaming | Everything else |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| TD First Class Travel Visa Infinite | $139 | 8 points (≈4%) | 6 points, first $25,000 | 4 points, first $25,000 | 2 points |
| TD Platinum Travel Visa | $89 | 6 points (≈3%) | 4.5 points, first $15,000 | 3 points, first $15,000 | 1.5 points |
| TD Rewards Visa | $0 | 4 points (≈2%) | 3 points, first $5,000 | 2 points, first $5,000 | 1 point |
Fees, interest and cash advances don’t earn points, and refunds reduce the points earned on the original purchase. The category caps below are per year and apply to each category separately.
Is Expedia For TD worth it?
Usually, if you have a TD Rewards card: it is the redemption where TD states a fixed value, and bookings there earn your card’s highest rate. Check the same trip on other sites first, though: 4% back doesn’t help if the price is higher.
Points are worth the same 0.5 cents whether you cover a whole trip or part of it, so there is no need to save up for a big redemption.
Can you use TD Rewards points outside Expedia For TD?
Yes. You can pay off past purchases from your last three statements (the credit posts within 2 business days), pay down your balance, shop with points on Amazon.ca, or convert at least 700 points to Starbucks Stars through a linked card.
TD doesn’t publish the same value for every option, so compare the rate shown in the TD app or EasyWeb before you redeem. To book travel elsewhere and cover it with points, use “Pay off Purchases” after the charge posts.
How do I contact Expedia For TD?
Expedia For TD customer service is 1-877-222-6492, listed by TD for Expedia, Inc. TD says it isn’t responsible for Expedia’s services, so changes and cancellations go through Expedia; questions about points go to TD.
Do TD Rewards points expire?
No. TD says your TD Rewards points won’t expire over time.
