Every change we’ve made to card offers and values since October 30, 2026, newest first. Each entry is dated the day our check found the change; the card page was updated after review.
Most entries are issuers changing their offers. Entries marked “Our correction” fix a mistake of ours.
Our correction
Scotiabank Gold American Express
We rechecked the insurance certificate. Seven coverage rows added on November 3 were incomplete or described what is covered where the limit or coverage period belonged. They now give the certificate's figures: mobile devices up to $1,000, from the later of 30 days after purchase or the first wireless bill, for up to 2 years; car rentals up to 48 days on vehicles with an MSRP up to $65,000; flight delays of 4 hours or more; delayed luggage after 4 hours; hotel burglary in Canada and the U.S. only; and a $60,000 lifetime maximum for purchase security and extended warranty.

Scotia Momentum Visa Infinite +
Scotiabank posted a new offer: 10% cash back on the first $2,000 in the first 3 months (up to $200), for accounts opened November 2, 2026 to April 30, 2027. The first-year fee is still waived. At $2,000 a month in typical spending, the welcome bonus is now worth $156.70 (was $256.70) and first-year value is $676.30 (was $776.30).

Scotiabank Passport Visa Infinite +
Scotiabank posted a new offer of up to 35,000 Scene+ points: 15,000 after $3,000 in the first 3 months and 20,000 more after $10,000 in the first 6 months, for accounts opened November 2, 2026 to January 3, 2027. Both targets are met at $2,000 a month, so the welcome bonus is now worth $350 (was $250) and first-year value is $545.60 (was $445.60).

These offers ended on November 1, 2026, and no replacement was posted when we checked. We no longer count these welcome offers, including first-year fee waivers: first-year value shows each card’s ongoing value until a new offer is confirmed.

BMO eclipse Visa Infinite Privilege
BMO changed the card on November 2, 2026: no foreign transaction fees, 10 airport lounge passes, a $200 Travel Credit in place of the $200 lifestyle credit, 5 points per dollar on health and wellness in place of drugstores, and a new welcome offer that needs $10,000, $20,000 and $40,000 of spending. At $2,000 a month the first target isn’t reached, so the welcome bonus now counts as $0 (was $533.33). Net annual rewards are now −$135.00 (was −$122.20) and first-year value is −$135.00 (was $411.13). The $599 annual fee is unchanged.
Our correction
On October 30 we removed the first-year fee refund because BMO’s product page didn’t mention it, which set first-year value to −$29. BMO’s card terms do refund the $29 annual fee for the first year on new accounts, so on November 1 we restored it: first-year value is back to $0.

American Express Aeroplan Reserve Card
Offer unchanged: 60,000 points after $7,500 in the first 3 months, which $2,000 a month doesn’t reach, so it still counts as $0. We added two details from American Express’s page: the 25,000 points in month 13 need $2,500 of spending that month, and the annual fee rises to $799 on January 12, 2027.

RBC Avion Visa Infinite Privilege
Points unchanged: 35,000 Avion points on approval and 20,000 after $5,000 in 6 months, for applications by November 25, 2026. The offer also includes 6 airport lounge passes, which our description had left out. We added them; they aren’t counted in the value.
Offer extended
Same bonus (5,000 WestJet points on the first purchase and 10,000 after $1,000 in 3 months), but the approval window now runs to November 18, 2026 instead of November 3. RBC’s page also lists a welcome companion voucher from $199, which isn’t counted in the value.

WestJet RBC World Elite Mastercard
Same 30,000 + 30,000 + 10,000 point structure, but the approval window now runs to November 18, 2026 instead of November 3. RBC also offers a first-year fee exemption for applications made through a designated RBC page and approved October 8 to November 18, 2026; because it depends on how you apply, it’s noted but not counted. A companion voucher from $119 isn’t counted either.

Simplii Financial Cash Back Visa
Simplii replaced its 20% offer on the first $500 of gas, grocery, drugstore and pre-authorized purchases with double cash back at restaurants, bars and coffee shops for the first 3 months, up to $80. At $200 a month on dining that adds $24, so the welcome value fell to $24 (was $92.50) and first-year value to $334.80 (was $403.30). The ongoing value ($310.80) and the $0 fee are unchanged.
